Federal prosecutors are investigating a leak of classified information on a Russian government document and are focusing on whether former FBI director James Comey was a part of that leak to the media regarding Hillary Clinton’s emails.
The actual investigation surrounds news organizations like the New York Times and Washington Post in 2017 regarding Russian intelligence.
“The case is the second time the Justice Department has investigated leaks potentially involving Mr. Comey, a frequent target of President Trump, who has repeatedly called him a ‘leaker.’ Mr. Trump recently suggested without evidence that Mr. Comey should be prosecuted for ‘unlawful conduct’ and spend years in prison,” the report said. I agree Comey’s a dirty bastard.
The intelligence obtained by the Dutch contained an email detailing an alleged interaction between Debbie Wasserman Schultz who was the DNC chairwoman and Leonard Benardo, an official of the George Soros funded Open Society Foundations. Comey refused to charge Hillary Clinton with any crime.
The exchange appeared to show Wasserman Schultz assuring Benardo that then sitting U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch at the time would “make sure” that Clinton wasn’t prosecuted in the ongoing investigation into her use of a private email server.
Former congressman Trey Gowdy said Comey refused to share information that was so classified that he was in a position to share it anyway. The mob squad is defending Comey already saying it’s political bias yet how is it if he committed a crime? Answer that! I hope this asshole goes down with every dirty person he ever protected.
