Also, just a couple of weeks ago the XFL announced they had acquired a television deal with several major networks in Fox & ABC/ESPN. The XFL will play 43 games this coming season and ABC will air 13 of the games with FOX showing 11, FOX will air 2 of those games in Thursday primetime slot and the rest will air on FS1/2, ESPN & ESPN 2 with ESPN airing the Championship Game on April 26th, 2020.

Moreover, there is No word on who will produce the games or call them, that’s up to the networks. The networks are not paying a rights fee, but ESPN and Fox are picking up production costs, which generally amount to around $400,000 per game, sources said.
