Mike Lindell had a lawsuit filed against him today by legal representatives for Dominion Voting Systems. They filed a defamation complaint in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia against MyPillow and its CEO, Mike Lindell.
“MyPillow’s defamatory marketing campaign—with promo codes like ‘FightforTrump,’ ’45,’ ‘Proof,’ and ‘QAnon’—has increased MyPillow sales by 30-40% and continues duping people into redirecting their election-lie outrage into pillow purchases,” Dominion’s lawsuit says.
Dominion says MyPillow sales rose 30-40% following defamatory marketing connected to President Trump’s questionable election loss. However, Lindell denies any such claims, “They also say that I benefited, or that my I used this for MyPillow, to advertise, and that’s not true. I lost 22 retailers,” Lindell said. “It’s been cancel culture for MyPillow.”
Major retailers like Bed, Bath & Beyond and Wayfair have dropped Lindell’s MyPillow products after public outcry over the founder’s attempts to overturn the election. Left-wing activists like David Hogg have also launched rival pillow products in an attempt to cut into MyPillow’s business.
Mike Lindell vs The Deep State
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Lindell said he was “very, very happy” to find out about the suit.
“I have all the evidence on them,” he told the Journal. “Now this will get disclosed faster, all the machine fraud and the attack on our country.”
Lindell accused Dominion of participating in Novembers rigged election, and after a series of threats, Dominion says in the suit, “was deliberately misrepresented, manufactured, cherry-picked, and sourced from con artists and conspiracy theorists who were judicially determined to be ‘wholly unreliable,” and they argue that “Lindell knows all of this because Dominion wrote to him multiple times, put him on formal written notice of the facts, and told him that Dominion employees were receiving death threats because of the lies.”
Mike Lindell doubled down on his claims going even further with his claims by producing a documentary to document his claims and airing them on OANN, who has also been warned about a potential lawsuit.
The cartoonish evidence that he offered in his video cannot be reconciled with any level of logic or truth. It would be easy to rack this up as a piece of fiction that is not worth any response — but unfortunately, countless people actually believed it and sent MyPillow some of their hard-earned money as a result. Mike Lindell needs to be held accountable for defaming Dominion and undermining the integrity of our electoral system all the while profiting from it.
Dominion legal counsel Megan Meier, Partner at Clare Locke LLP to the Washington Examiner
Lindell in his fetaure video claimed “absolute proof” of election theft, Lindell asserted that that fraud had only been discovered because Trump’s lead on election night was so massive that the “machines broke.“
Twitter suspended Mike Lindell from it’s social media platform last month in their continuous assault on free speech, no word was given on which tweets they had problem with.
Mainstream Hypocrisy
Democrats will say that Donald Trump created fake news when it was their own propaganda machines that did it in the first place, or what’s even worse is we know where it comes from, the deep state.
Wait, so some company making a buck is a crime because they believe something that “wasn’t true” while the same network (CNN) pushes bull shit propaganda that tried to bury a President even before he took office then continued it for four years with Russia, Mueller, Comey and other deep states stories that ended up being false, yeah no hypocrisy there.
We have a free market don’t we? That increase in sales goes to show the American people believe Lindell and not Dominion or CNN. That’s CNN’s fault plain and simple because they regurgitate whatever they’re fed by the swamp. CNN says his claims were debunked, ok fine, where is the proof? Biden won right, then what harm was done?
Dominion Voting Systems has also sued for defamation against Rudy Giuliani, and Sidney Powell. All lawsuits are for over $1 Billion, what’s happening here is this is all a scheme for the long game to come after Trump and his family, but I got news for you, it’s not going to work.
My Take
The case going forward will bring a needed investigation, transparency and result that I hope will actually clear up what happened in the November election. I’m looking forward to what his defense has to say about any of this, if they go that route. How do they even know his company had a rise in sales 30-40%? Isn’t MyPillow a private company that’s not pubically traded?
Look for the “woke” crowd going forward who own retail stores to remove even more MyPillow products from their stores altogether because they don’t to be “associated” with someone like that, or their argument will be who may have “subconsciously contributed to the Capitol riots on January 6th,” look for that line to be played in the coming days and months.
I don’t see this going anywhere because the best evidence they have is that their (MyPillow) sales increased.
States run their own elections, so the suit in my opinion would have to come from the States themselves because they would have a grievance moreso than the actual company. It’s their money that’s being questioned in how it was used or at least the integrity of it.
If the states certified their elections what problems really came from the company, and how did it take a hit if they’re privately contracted? There wouldn’t be one correct?
I don’t understand what’s going on and how they lost money if they’re privately contracted. They should sue the states if anything!
This entire lawsuit is filled with assumption of motive as to why Lindell did the things they’re accusing him of. You can demonize Lindell all you want because he is a business man and a supporter of president of President Trump, but that doesn’t mean you have grounds to win a lawsuit for it, this isn’t Venezuela.
There is absolutely zero proof that Lindell orchestrated or manipulated his narrative by supporting President Trump in order to get monetary gains simply by believing that Donald Trump won the election.
These claims have caused irreparable harm to Dominion’s good reputation and threatened the safety of our employees and customers. Moreover, Mr. Lindell’s lies have undermined trust in American democracy and tarnished the hard work of local election officials.
Dominion Voting Systems Lawsuit
As previously stated Lindell asked Dominion to sue him because he believes discovery will allow for others to see the supposed evidence he claims the company is hiding, let’s hope he’s right.
