In a statement relayed through their representative, Hanks said the two contracted the illness in Australia, where the actor is currently filming Baz Luhrmann’s untitled Elvis Presley biopic, in which Hanks is playing Presley’s manager, Colonel Tom Parker.
What also doesn’t work in their favor is their ages as Hanks his wife is 63 years old and Hanks does have a preexisting condition having diabetes.
Regardless of how you may feel about Hanks, he got the virus. Everyone needs to pay attention and please take care of yourselves and be careful.
