Prosecutors say they intend to further investigation as much as possible while Assange is in prison in the United Kingdom serving a sentence of just under a year for skipping bail. Prosecutors stress it’s merely an investigation, not an indictment.
The decision comes after a lawyer for one of the women involved in the 2010 Swedish allegations against the WikiLeaks founder asked for the investigation to resume. Earlier this month, Assange was sentenced to 50 weeks in jail because of previously skipping bail as mentioned earlier.
In 2010 the Guardian reported two Swedish women accused the WikiLeaks founder of sexual assault and rape. Assange denied the allegations and sought refuge in London’s Ecuadorian embassy after a court ordered him to be extradited to Sweden to face the investigation.
He’ll serve his 50-week jail term in the UK, but the Swedish statute of limitations on his rape case would remain valid by the time he’s released from prison. It’s evident the Deep State has conspired to silence a man who truly beat them at their own game, arrange is the true mirrored image of who they are on a visible level. I still don’t believe arrange is finished yet.
You can’t silence the truth. They are trying to do whatever they can to put this guy down. I’ll have more on this developing story as it builds.
