The San Francisco 11 Board of Supervisors have passed a resolution declaring the National Rifle Association a “domestic terrorist organization” and urging the city to examine its financial relationships with companies that do business with the group.
“The City and County of San Francisco should take every reasonable step to limit those entities who do business with the City and County of San Francisco from doing business with this domestic terrorist organization,” it noted.
Doesn’t this destroy the free market? Free enterprise? Freedom of expression? How is this legal? It this even unconstitutional? If they justify the NRA then how come the city has not yet declared the Antifa a terrorist organization?
This declaration noted the recent acts of gun violence, including the July shooting that killed three people, all younger than 26, at a food festival in Gilroy, Calif., south of San Francisco.
I’m sorry, but imagine thinking that encouraging a constitutional right is considered terrorism, what a bunch of shit, fix your homeless population first San Francisco before you attempt to tell people what’s right or wrong.
They justified this declaration by saying gun violence is, “25 times higher than any other high-income country in the world.” 36,000 people in the United States die in gun-related incidents every year, an average of 100 per day.
However, what they don’t tell you is that 500,000 to 3,000,000 lives are saved every year n self-defense and includes people preventing crimes from going forward or taking place, prevented by good people who have and know how to use guns.
All this research was done under the Obama administration so none of the research was funded by the NRA for liberals to argue hoping it would be in there favor. The study was performed by the CDC. Self-defense itself is the real deterrent to gun crimes and it’s less likely that the person defending themselves are less likely to even be injured.
If the establishment is really wanting to have full gun control especially with candidates like Beto Orourke yesterday calling to have the government buy back all weapons from the American people, how is this not a conspiracy to criminalize everyone in America who possess a firearm? How can you buy back weapons that you never owned in the first place? Prohibition does not work.
