President Trump signs the new US-Mexico-Canada trade agreement Wednesday morning, with some 400 guests including farmers, CEOs, and workers in attendance. USMCA is a replacement of NAFTA almost 30 years after it’s creation that’s been buried numerous times, Trump has Kept a campaign promise.

This deal has been updated to suit the e-commerce and technological advancements of today’s world basically guaranteeing an influx of $1. 4 trillion in North American commerce. This deal also does not encourage companies to go to Mexico for cheaper labor but to move back to the U.S. or stay here.

This is what bi-partisanship looks like, it’s what it could have always looked like if a compromise is made like it’s supposed to but we’re all too busy pointing fingers at one another.

Today, we are finally ending the NAFTA nightmare and signing into law the brand new US-Mexico-Canada Agreement! The USMCA is the largest, fairest, most balanced and modern trade agreement ever achieved.

President Donald Trump

This gets rid of NAFTA which was deeply flawed and unfair. Look at the trade deficits it caused, how anyone would not want a re-do of such a horrible deal is insane. NAFTA will go down as one of the worst deals made in that era along with the 94 crime bill.

There’s criticism regarding The United Food and Commercial Workers International Union who criticized the agreement for not including “country-of-origin labeling” intended to ensure food safety and prevent foreign companies from skirting food production standards. All I can think about is mad cow.

President Trump:

FRIDAY—Became the 1st President to speak at the March for Life
YESTERDAY—announced plan for peace in the Middle East alongside Prime Minister Netanyahu
TODAY—Signed USMCA

Democrats: Still focused on impeachment.

The agreement also scrapped the original NAFTA’s Investor-State Dispute Settlement system, which gave corporations extensive authority to sue foreign governments forced to comply with business-friendly panels. However, it seems like something both sides clearly wanted to get rid of for some reason or another. I’m not smart enough to figure out exactly what that reason is nor do I really care.

Time will tell if the USMCA is any better than what we had, the jury is still out on that, with many experts saying the changes were negligible I just hope for your sake, they’re wrong.
