Yesterday former President Barack Obama retweeted an article from the Washington Post that saw 149 African Americans who worked for the Obama administration criticizing President Trump.

In the article, the former staffers claimed that President Trump is responsible for “poisoning our democracy.” Their criticisms were heavily based on the Presidents remarks against the “Squad” congresswomen.

His retweet included some interesting statements, “I’ve always been proud of what this team accomplished during my administration…But more than what we did, I’m proud of how they’re continuing to fight for an America that’s better.”

Obama Applauds “Poisoning Our Democracy” Remarks Aimed at Trump 2 Obama

The staffer’s remarks are as follows, “We refuse to sit idly by as racism, sexism, homophobia, and xenophobia are wielded by the president and any elected official complicit in the poisoning of our democracy.”

The hypocrisy is Obama is a constitutional lawyer and during his presidency continuously spit on it, free speech zones, a continuation of the patriot act, bullying Chrysler creditors to take 30 cents on the dollar which is illegal according to the takings and dues clauses in the constitution while violating bankruptcy law. That’s only a minut amount of laws he broke.

The Washington Post article continued by saying, “There is truly nothing more un-American than calling on fellow citizens to leave our country — by citing their immigrant roots, or ancestry, or their unwillingness to sit in quiet obedience while democracy is being undermined.”

This is odd for 44, considering Obama has not really criticized Trumps administration since most former Commander in Chief’s refrain from criticizing the new heirs. Apparently, George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter missed that memo.
