Freedom fighter and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange appeared in court yesterday regarding his timeframe for his extradition hearing to the United States. He had asked for an extension but was denied overall with a few tweaks.

The Wikileaks founder was not looking as the Assange of late being cleanly shaven and in a blue suit. He appeared fragile not really being able to put a sentence together. When he entered the courtroom an hour earlier, he raised his fist to his supporters in the public gallery, many of whom returned the gesture.

However, he did have this to say, “This is not equitable what’s happening here,” he added along with not being able to “think properly” in prison.

Several weeks ago his friend Pamela Anderson came out and said that Assange was being psychologically tortured in his high-security prison in London.

Assange, 48-years-old is being charged in the U.S. under the Espionage Act with conspiring to receive, obtaining and disclosing classified information supplied by whistleblower Chelsea Manning. Some of the information contained names of people in Afghanistan, Iraq, China, Syria and elsewhere who had confidentially provided information to the U.S. government.

Manning was sentenced to 35 years before her sentence was commuted by Obama. Manning has been in jail since May after refusing to testify against Julain Assange to a grand jury. Corruption by governments must be exposed and that’s what they have done, there is no telling when manning will be released.

The cause for freedom and the protection of all people from corrupt governments ensures the constitution is still a valid document for every American and perhaps the noblest fight of all.

The extradition hearing is still set for February 24, 2020, Assange doesn’t have access to a computer and isn’t permitted to speak to his U.S. lawyers by telephone. We wish you all the luck Julian, Godspeed. It’s looking like you’ll be here sooner than you hoped, here’s hoping that you have an ace in the hole still.
