If you’ve paid attention since Pope Francis has become Pope, he has had a tremendous effect on world leadership. However, he has gone above and beyond any Pope that I have seen to change the church by what he says instead of what he does. Sure, many things he advocates are legitimately necessary, but so much of what he says is not in favor of Jesus Christ.

I’m Catholic, but I am not a fan of this Pope nor the last one, nor the previous one before him. Here, in my opinion, are the most angering comments made by Pope Francis against my God he supposedly serves.

The Controversy

Pope Francis gave an “interview” to Italian Journalist Eugenio Scalfari, whose work set social media on fire. In this, “interview” Scalfari quoted Pope Francis saying, “there is no hell.” Scalfari also went on to say Pope Francis stated: “souls just vanish.” The Catholic Reporter has come out and denied these statements merely saying it was not an interview, but only a meeting.
Interestingly the doubt that hovered over the Scalfari “interview” screams legit now.

Think of it, never before has Scalfari lied about his works, this is his fifth “interview” with Pope Francis, the Vatican has even reprinted Scalfari works, according to insiders Scalfari is indeed the Popes favorite journalist. More importantly, the Pope himself has never come out denying anything that he was accused of saying.

Controversy Continues…

Late last year the Pontiff suggested he wanted to change the Lord’s prayer. He wanted to change it because he believes we don’t understand the meaning nor translation. The specific phrase in “Our Father” “lead us not into temptation.” Apparently, the Pontiff believes we aren’t intelligent enough to know what is being said.
Moreover, hypothetically speaking if we were to allow him to alter the Lord’s prayer this would give him the power to do much more. Who’s to say he wouldn’t? Isn’t he already trying to lay out a new foundation in his eyes?

Perhaps The Largest….

The Pope has called for prison reform, yet he has continued to play the game of hot potato with accused pedophiles(priests). Accusations have stacked up in regards to abuse, yet continues the practice of moving priests from parish to parish. There has been the tremendous controversy over Bishop Juan Barros cover-up of sex abuse in Chile from priest Fernando Karadima. The Pope has got major heat for his comments, “the day you bring me proof, then I will speak.”

Step Down Francis

Since when is it holy to protect evil people & question the words of God. Isn’t it anti-Christian if you say there is no hell? Because to believe in one, you have to believe the other exists just as much as the other. To say there is no punishment for souls says that Christ isn’t real and he never died for our sins. What would be the point of having a soul?
Exorcisms

Exorcisms have gone up around the world enormously, 500,000 alone in Italy. Father Gabriele Amorth is an exorcist and has a terrifying take on where the devil is. Father Gabriele has said the acts of evil coming alive through people is proof that there is an Anti-Christ raging war on the Holy See. He went as far to say, “the devil resides in the Vatican, and you can see the consequences.”
Oddly enough late last year the pope had chilling words describing the devil. When interviewed by TV2000 Francis said,

He is evil, he’s not like mist. He’s not a diffuse thing, he is a person. I’m convinced that one must never converse with Satan – if you do that, you’ll be lost…..

He’s more intelligent than us, and he’ll turn you upside down, he’ll make your head spin.

He always pretends to be polite – he does it with priests, with bishops. That’s how he enters your mind. But it ends badly if you don’t realise what is happening in time. (We should tell him) go away”

But we know if there is any worry about this pope and his allegiances, Francis will have to answer to God himself when his time is up.

God Help Us?
How do you feel?
