Former Obama attorney general Eric Holder wrote an op-ed Wednesday accusing attorney general William Barr of “plainly ideological” and “nakedly partisan” actions in response to Barr’s framing of Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report on the origins of the FBI’s Russia probe.
Holder’s comments come after Barr slammed the FBI on Monday after the release of the Inspector General’s report detailing the agency’s investigation of the Trump campaign’s alleged ties with Russia, telling NBC News on Tuesday that the FBI had not cleared the bureau of political motivation in its investigation of possible collusion between Russia and the 2016 Trump campaign.
Holder continued with his hypocrisy, “Even more troubling — and telling — was a later (and little-noticed) section of his remarks, in which Barr made the outlandish suggestion that Congress cannot entrust anyone but the president himself to execute the law.”
So let’s get this right. Obama officials misuse their offices to go after Trump, his campaign, associates and family, make up stories and sought fake warrants where there was zero evidence, yet was it the Obama administration and Eric’s performance he was describing?
Barr is acting as a partisan mob lawyer instead of the impartial protector of the rule of law. When the protectors of justice are unjust, we are all in danger.

Barr’s words and actions have been fundamentally inconsistent with his duty to the Constitution. I now fear that his conduct — running political interference for an increasingly lawless president — will wreak lasting damage.

Holder’s bitter about his performance and the way he and the administration said screw the law. Any time you start an op-ed saying you’re “reluctant to criticize my successor,” you’re really not. Once Trump became president, the entire state of the deep state already had their plan to destroy Trump as the insurance policy. The fix was in and Holder says that’s Barr’s fault. That’s really rich ?!

Three words: Fast and Furious! Holder lied under oath, & Attorney General Eric Holder became the first sitting member of the Cabinet of the United States to be held in contempt of Congress on June 28, 2012.
This comes from the guy and a previous administration that handled national security threats as criminal justice issues and went after journalists in leak investigations while turning a blind eye on sensitive administration leaks.
Yet my biggest thing is Holder’s a lawyer and you worked for President Obama who was supposedly a constitutional lawyer with a specialty in civil rights, yet he didn’t give a shit about what he was supposed to defend nor did Holder. Holder repeatedly failed to advise President Obama against unconstitutional actions, refusing to enforce/defend federal laws.
