In part two of this series, I’m focusing on another of President Biden’s failures, foreign policy, more specifically, Afghanistan.
His leadership to keep strong and be forceful when he’s needed to has just turned into a catastrophe for citizens of Afghanistan and American citizens who are there and trying to leave, as well as Americans here who worry if they’ll ever see their family or friends again.
Afghanistan Today
Earlier today, the Pentagon confirmed that at least 12 U.S. Service Members were killed by terrorists at Kabul’s International Airport along with more than 90 Afghan citizens. According to the Pentagon, two blasts ripped through crowds trying to enter the American-controlled facility, disrupting the Americans evacuation effort.
Today’s attacks marked one of the single deadliest days for U.S. forces in Afghanistan in the 20 years since America and its allies invaded.
A statement by the Taliban condemned the “gruesome incident” and said the group “will take every step to bring the culprits to justice.” The militant group has controlled the capital since the fall of the Afghan government nearly three weeks ago and is responsible for security around the airport.
5,000 Americans have been evacuated from Afghanistan so far.
No U.S. military members had died in Afghanistan since February 2020 when former President Donald Trump’s administration signed a peace deal with the Taliban, setting in motion the US withdrawal.
Biden’s Broken Promises
- March: Biden to reporters, “If we leave, we’re going to do so in a safe and orderly way.”
- April: The President committed that he would ensure people’s safety with American military force to “defend ourselves and our partners with all the tools at our disposal” should the Taliban “attack us as we draw down.”
- July: Biden said, “the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely.” And look what happened
- August: Afghanistan fell into the hands of the Taliban after Biden’s administration botched the U.S. troop withdrawal. With our withdrawal the American embassy in Kabul was abandoned, millions of dollars in military equipment and transportation vehicles have fallen into their control.
- Overall, a failure!
My Take
Maybe now the military industrial complex and the warhawks will now understand that “saving everyone” for war profits is nothing compared to the lives lost. This save the world mentality becomes even more frowned upon and ups the risks to our service members and those abroad.
I’m sure you can look for Biden to pull the Trump blame card sometime today as well. Maybe, if we actually had leadership in the White House this wouldn’t have happened because we know damn well they were scared of Trump, because if you punch him he’s going to punch you twice as hard.
They can’t play the blame game anymore, this administration needs to be accountable. But yet they still b**** about Donald Trump making mean tweets, and being mean and upfront, maybe of they had a backbone we wouldn’t be in this situation, we never should have been there in the first place.
Just watch for the spin to come out from President Biden and his administration saying that this is why they need to get people out of Afghanistan, because things like this would happen. They knew things like this would happen and they didn’t do what they were supposed to do in the right manner, which is why they’ve failed.
Just remember Biden has ripped up and rescinded a ton of what President Trump has done and all it is is just an excuse to truly not take blame, because all of a sudden he’s trying to follow what Trump wanted? Bull! It’s a diversion and dont believe him.
Resignation or Impeachment?
Everyone except Biden saw this coming, because the intelligence was there so maybe he just ignored it at the expense of Americans altogether.
This administration being oblivious is a tremendous understandment, Biden and Harris should both resign or be impeached. Kamala said on national TV she was the last person in the room when they approved these plans for getting out of Afghanistan.
We had the intel capabilities to say today’s bombing was “imminent” near the airport gates but Biden didn’t couldn’t conceive that 300,000 Afghanistan military members who were being paid by the United States weren’t going to drop everything at the behest of 75,000 Taliban rebels. He’s not fit to lead to lead this country. It all collapsed in eleven days.
Intelligence agencies predicted that should the Taliban seize cities, a cascading collapse could happen rapidly and the Afghan security forces were at high risk of falling apart. It is unclear whether other reports during this period presented a more optimistic picture about the ability of the Afghan military and the government in Kabul to withstand the insurgents.

It’s time for him to leave.
