Stimulus checks will not be given to an approximate 8-12 million Americans who represent the middle class according to several institutes.
The House of Representatives passed a bill Saturday that said they would set a cap for Americans to receive those stimulus checks at $100,000 in income for individuals, $150,000 for heads of household and $200,000 for married couples.
This is more than the previous two rounds and I seriously have no problem with many americans getting their money back they put into the system, it’s our money, and under the prior legislations americans were capped at $75,000 for individuals with an adjusted gross income, heads of household with up to $112,500 and married couples who file jointly with up to $150,000.
The IRS said it issued more than 160 million first-round payments last year, and almost 150 million second-round payments sending out a combined $407 billion to Americans.
Biden Slashing Eligibility for Stimulus Checks
Apparently Joe Biden has no problems screwing over the middle class as reports started to swirl Wednesday that he would agree to lower the income levels of eligibility for stimulus checks at which those payments are capped, now it’s said to be $80,000, heads of household with $120,000 and married couples with $160,000, cutting off a good percentage of Americans who were eligible.
I’m seeing all over twitter that liberals and progressives are defending Biden claiming that people who make $80,000 is “enough money” and “they don’t need it” but let me remind you $80,000 dollars in the Midwest is different than for those people making $80,000 on the coasts. Money like that goest ablot further in Kansas City than it does in New York City or San Francisco. Their hypocrisy will not be tolerated!
Democrats usually screw over minorities but their about to screw a lot of people who will need the money in my opinion. They love to tax the middle class to death while giving the rich tax breaks after advocating to tax them but deliver nothing to do so like they do with their promises to the inner cities and minority voters they expect to vote for them.
Can I also point out that they’re using 2019 pre-pandemic income to determine eligibility, which Biden and his supporters seem to happily ignore and not even talk about which is probably hurting millions more in this country who truly need it.
There’s talk that that they will be going off of 2020 tax returns but that number is definitely skewed to go off either way, making it unpredictable for them to really understand a person’s living situation on whether they need it. This is a hit job by Joe Biden on the American people by him, members of congress and his cronies, they should be repremamded for this crime, but I say just wait til super tuesday. We know what’s coming!
The left-leaning Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy estimated that 11.8 million fewer adults and 4.6 million fewer children would be eligible for the direct payments. Steve Wamhoff, the group’s director of federal tax policy, said the changes in the Senate bill would not reduce eligibility for people in the bottom 60 percent of income.
If they took out all the pork in this relief bill and gave it directly to the American people who need it, who’s yo say Americans wouldn’t get thousands more? They are asking for so much money thats non covid-19 related, they should be ashamed of themselves. This backlash will smack the Democrats in the face when many of those Americans cast their vote in 2024 for Donald Trump.
You can count on Biden’s blithering idiotic supporters to spout how great this is and how wonderful a job he is doing but every single person should be getting a check as long as they pay taxes. Spare me the he/she is “too rich” bullshit. Pay fed tax…you get a fed handout.
You crumbled under pressure the donteh right thing you claimed you would do Joe Biden, and that’s protect and help the middle class, well you screwed them and your honeymoon is over.
