According to the Commission on Presidential Debates, microphones for both President Donald Trump and Vice President Joe Biden will be muted for portions of commentary in the next presidential debate.
It seems the commision had weeks to decide on this apparent “unanimous” decision but the final say was done Monday for Thursday’s second and final debate between both presidential candidates.
The decision comes as they claim they’re merely enforcing rules that both campaigns agreed to.
Presidemt Trump deemed it “unfair” but acknowledge he would “participate” in the debate, but the President has taken issue with the moderator and her topics she has chosen labeling her as “totally biased.”
“President Trump is committed to debating Joe Biden regardless of last minute rule changes from the biased commission in their latest attempt to provide advantage to their favored candidate. This was supposed to be the foreign policy debate, so the President still looks forward to forcing Biden to answer the number one relevant question of whether he’s been compromised by the Communist Party of China. Why did Biden allow his son Hunter to sell access to him while he was vice president, and why were there Chinese payment arrangements for Joe himself worked out by Hunter and his sketchy partners? If the media won’t ask Joe Biden these questions, the President will, and there will be no escape for Biden.”

Presidential Debate Commission Letter
President Donald Trump and Vice President Joe Biden will have their microphones cut as the opposing candidate deliver their opening two-minute answer to each of the debate topics.
Both microphones will be unmuted after each candidate delivers their two-minute “answer”, but the microphones being muted will not even be a factor when the open discussion segment takes place.
Each debate has six segments the moderator aims to “focus” on and let’s hope it’s fair and impartial and not some sort of rigged event where Trump gets pissed because Biden’s microphone isn’t turning off. If this comes to fruition look for the President to go above and beyond in a justifiably heated reaction.
According to the commission, moderator Kristen Welker of NBC News has chosen the following topics for the upcoming debate: fighting COVID-19, American families, race in America, climate change, national security and leadership.
