Recently Jim Caviezel did an interview with Fox News where he gave an update about the progress regarding the sequel to Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of Christ” in which Caviezel played Jesus Christ.
During the interview with Fox News contributor and Fox Nation host Raymond Arroyo, Caviezel disclosed that Gibson is currently on his fifth draft of the script making sure it’s perfect. According to Gibson, the sequel will eventually be called “The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection.”
It’s going to be a masterpiece. It’s gonna be the biggest film in world history, I believe it will be based on what I feel in my heart.

Caviezel also buried Hollywood saying they refuse to make films about Jesus Christ but are willing to make marvel movies with fake superheroes instead of praising the ultimate superhero that Jesus Christ is.
Much of the film’s success is attributed to mankind’s natural suspicion of what’s next and “Hey, where are you going to go? What character are you playing in the Bible?” according to Caviezel. “The Passion of the Christ” success is also canted in another way being the most successful independent film ever, having a budget of $30 million but raking in $612 million worldwide.
In the documentary below Caviezel gives an amazing and heartwarming take on what his experiences playing the role of Jesus Christ was like in the film and details that so many strange things happened to him while filming including getting struck by lightning.
