Well, it seems as if week 14 of the NFL was the most surprising by far with no doubt the biggest shocks of the season thus far. Let’s take a look at the biggest standouts from this week.
Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs hold on to beat the Ravens in OT 27-24 and clinch a spot in the playoffs for the 4th straight season. The Chiefs have now won nine-straight regular-season games at Arrowhead Stadium. The kicking predicament may be upon us with replacing Butker, he could make or break us and we then would become the Los Angels Chargers if he isn’t clutch.
The Chiefs have made the playoffs under the helm of coach Andy Reid 5 out of 6 years. Just remember my chiefs fans we only averaged 5 wins a season in the previous 6 years before Reid.
Somehow the Raiders get their 3rd win and stunned the Steelers in Oakland and move to 3-10 while the Steelers struggle for the battle of the top to keep their spot in their division heading into the playoffs with a 7-5-1 record, even with a loss the Ravens are on their ass.
Los Angeles Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers beat the Cincinnati Bengals 26-21 gaining their 10th win of the season and continue to be on the hunt for the AFC West division title. Cincinnati is 0-4 since hiring Hue Jackson and in the last place in the AFC North. Browns 3-2 minus Hue, that’s a jump them in the standings a tad.
Do I want to know how in the hell is this possible? People answer this because I am shocked especially because it’s a soccer stadium. Is this why they call them the Charger$😏
Uh oh….How bout them COWBOYS!!! The Cowboys pulled off their FIFTH STRAIGHT win behind Amari Cooper’s three TDs.
Amari Cooper in 2018 with the Raiders in 6 Games had 22 receptions, 280 Yards and 1 TD. Oh but what a difference a change of scenery can do for a person. Since he’s been with the Cowboys in just 6 Games he’s had 40 receptions with 642 yards and 6 TD’s, big difference.
Well there was a miracle in Miami yesterday afternoon and if you missed it it was incredible as the Miami Dolphins defeated the New England Patriots 34-33 on a lateral that actually worked with no time left and breaking Gronks ankles. Something must be in the air down there because Belichick can’t seem to win in Miami.
Not to take away from the Miami win but it’s important to note that Tom Brady passed Peyton Manning for the most career TD passes (including postseason) in NFL history yesterday! 🥇
The Indianapolis Colts
The Colts to my shock stopped the hottest team in the NFL in Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans ending their 9 game winning streak.
Ty Hilton continues to be fantastic with his 7th straight season with 800 yards or more leading the NFL.
