According to The Detroit News, Daughter of former President Barack Obama, Sasha, his younger daughter, will begin her college career at the University of Michigan next week. Sasha was seen attending her freshman orientation and was accompanied by men believed to be Secret Service agents.
The university would not confirm her enrollment in a statement to the paper, citing its policy prohibiting such disclosures regarding students. “We cannot confirm the enrollment of any student,” Rick Fitzgerald, a spokesman for the university, said. “Classes do not start until next week, and we are weeks away from official enrollment information.”
A spokeswoman for the former president’s daughter also declined to comment on the story to the paper. Her sister, Malia, is now going to Harvard University.
