The Catholic Church has never been pro-LGBT+, It is firmly opposed to gay sex, same-sex marriage, and trans rights, but when Pope Francis assumed the papacy in 2013 many expressed nontraditionalist hoped that he could change that. Is this change to your liking?

Do you like Pope Francis?

Catholic teaching considers gender “reassignment” an impossibility and a violation of the Creator’s intention.

The Vatican released a document in 2019 which firmly rejected trans identities and insisted gender fluidity posed a threat to the traditional family structure. Do you concur so far?

The document decried “calls for public recognition of the right to choose one’s gender and of a plurality of new types of unions, in direct contradiction of the model of marriage as being between one man and one woman, which is portrayed as a vestige of patriarchal societies”.

Was it right for Pope Francis to give the Trans Women Prostitutes financial assistance?

Around 20 trans women, mostly from Latin America, turned up at Father Conocchia’s church looking for vital supplies. The majority of the women are sex workers who were left without vital funds to pay for rent and food during the pandemic.

Father Conocchia sent a message to Pope Francis and the Papal Almoner which is responsible for charitable works done in the name of the Holy Father. The request for financial assistance was approved getting the go-ahead immediately to help support the trans prostitutes.

This is a health emergency, but also a social emergency, let’s try not to turn it into a human emergency. We must remain human. I would say that we treat these (transgender) people as if they were invisible. If the coronavirus had never happened, I might have never met them in person, they might have never asked for help in a church and maybe we wouldn’t have had the chance to dialogue, know each other and share.

The transsexuals expressed their gratitude to Pope Francis by recording an audio message: “Many thanks to Pope Francis! May God bless you, thank you for everything! A thousand blessings! May the Virgin protect you!”

Is this morally right to not turn your back on a fellow human in need? Was the right thing done here? There was never a report to how much money was given, does that matter?

Pope Francis Wants A Global Vaccine

In an address from the papal library this morning Pope Francis said he wants global cooperation to combat the coronavirus.

In fact, it is important to unite scientific capabilities, in a transparent and impartial way to find vaccines and treatments, … guarantee universal access to essential technologies that allow each infected person, in every part of the world, to receive the necessary medical treatment.

The pope also invited faithful of all religions to spiritually unite in prayer, fasting, and works of charity on May 14th to “implore God to help humanity to overcome the coronavirus pandemic”.

If you’ve read my articles on Pope Francis you’ll know I’m not a fan of this man who repeatedly takes shots at the Catholic church, Jesus Christ, and the way he dismisses the practices of the church and how he has protected pedophiles with even requests from bishops to step down due to heresy. I’m honestly shocked he said we “should implore God” but that’s just me.
