Trump is now under real pressure from the NY Legislature. The State Senate passed a bill to create a path to release Donald Trump’s state tax returns. It’s also passed another bill to curtail the impact of presidential pardons in NY.
Sure, let’s just change laws to facilitate going after a political opponent. Who’s next? What other departments do the Democrats want to weaponize?
Seems like the only people left on the left are those that can’t tell the Constitution from toilet paper. The New York Senate is obstructing and targeting Trump & his family because of their politic agenda, this is Corruption in action. What a blatant smack in the face to the process they supposedly get mad at Trump for “disregarding”.
The Republican-led Senate Intel Committee subpoenas Donald Trump Jr. over Russia matters. It’s the first congressional subpoena for one of the presidents children. It’s worth remembering that Mitch McConnell just said “case closed” on the Russia investigation yesterday.
According to Brian Schwartz from CNBC, “People close to Don Jr. say expect him to fight the subpoena issued by the Senate Intel Committee. One person called the subpoena,” ‘an obvious PR stunt from a so-called ‘Republican’ Senator too cowardly to stand up to his boss Mark Warner.’
Word is that Don Jr. may not even appear or if he does he will invoke his fifth amendment right. It’s clear they can’t blood and this is truly a new witch hunt. More to come on these developing stories.
