The influence and grip that President Trump holds on his followers are extremely strong especially considering that both Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr. were voted as top prospects for the commander in chief by Republicans in a poll conducted by Survey Monkey.
- full 40 percent of Republicans today would vote for Vice President Mike Pence as Commander-in-Chief.
- Nearly three in 10 (29 percent) would be keen on Trump’s son, Donald Trump, Jr.
- Just over one quarter (26 percent) would cast a vote for former U.N. Ambassador, Nikki Haley.
Don Jr. was the top choice among young voters, while Pence was the clear preference for older voters.
It had always come off that when Trump entered office, Ivanka seemed to be his natural heir, however, Don Jr. has flipped the script in that regard, emerging as an effective campaigner for his dad and a passionate defender for his father.
I was pretty much ahead of the curve considering that I wrote an article in July of last year saying this same thing. I don’t think Haley has a shot considering her latest debacle with sending information over a private email server like Hillary Clinton. I’m not much of a fan of her foreign policy tactics either.
I was right about Haley, Don Jr., and Mike Pence but am shocked that Rubio made the list and Romney, Christie, Mitt Romney or even Paul Ryan didn’t make the list.
A debate between two Trumps would be extremely entertaining but would they bury each other in a survival of the fittest just for the presidency in a debate? Who is your choice?
