Attorneys for Virginia Giuffre, who publicly accused Jeffrey Epstein of sex trafficking, must destroy files they obtained on Epstein after a Wednesday ruling by a federal judge in New York City.
Senior U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska somehow determined that attorneys for Epstein survivor Virginia Roberts Giuffre had improperly gained access to many of those highly-prized documents, but if it’s crucial to the victim’s case why shouldn’t they be allowed?
That means that they can’t have copies of the documents in question; it does not mean that all copies of the documents will be deleted from existence. Additionally, the law firm of Cooper & Kirk must provide “an affidavit detailing the steps that it took to destroy the materials.”
[W]hatever Cooper & Kirk’s intentions in requesting and obtaining the Maxwell materials from Boies Schiller, the Maxwell Protective Order explicitly provides that (1) discovery materials designated CONFIDENTIAL cannot be disclosed or used outside of the confines of the Maxwell action and (2) that properly designated discovery materials may only be disclosed to specific groups of individuals, including attorneys “actively working on” the Maxwell litigation.

Giuffre vs Dershowitz
Preska’s ruling came after a request by attorney Alan Dershowitz to gain access to the documents. Dershowitz defended Epstein during his 2019 trial. Giuffre has claimed that Dershowitz was one of the men Epstein forced her to have sex with. In response, Dershowitz sued Giuffre for defamation in 2019. Dershowitz claimed that obtaining the Epstein files would be an asset to his defense.

Preska said in her ruling that Dershowitz’s desire to see all of the files “with over a thousand docket entries” was not a “targeted strike” but a “carpet bombing.”
Giuffre has consistently claimed that she had been brought into Epstein’s circle by Epstein’s lover and child provider, Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell was arrested Thursday morning by federal agents who finally got her in New Hampshire.
As if the case couldn’t get a little more strange, the daily mail reported last week that there was a “mystery person” in Alan Dershowitz’s defamation case against Virginia Giuffre who begged the judge to block the release of documents that would expose high-profile pedophile’s.

Moreover, while Giuffre was involved with Epstein, Giuffre alleged that she had been involved in sexual relations with Prince Andrew while she was 17 years old at Epstein’s behest. Prince Andrew has denied all allegations.

Prince Andrew denied the allegations, saying in a 2019 statement that he “deplores the exploitation of any human being and the suggestion he would condone, participate in or encourage and such behavior is abhorrent.”
This has been one hell of a case with so many twists and turns, and I really hope the victims get justice, and everyone involved is exposed for the pedophiles they are.
