China’s 2016 5 year goal of surveilling 100% of the country in public places is nearly complete.
The surveillance state that aimed to fully monitor it’s citizens in 2003 has indeed become ‘Big Brother’ as 96% of it’s it’s citizens are already in monitored databases. There have been many incidences that if someone steps out of line they are basically deemed enemies of the “State” and placed on blacklists which barred the use of public transportation, according to American Journal of Political Science.
Surveillance Oligarchy
Sharp Eyes, a ‘Big Brother’ tool that was used primarily for rural locations and small towns and is a reference to a quote from communist China’s former leader Mao Zedong who once wrote that “the people have sharp eyes” when looking out for neighbors not living up to communist values.
Then China also has Skynet which is a nationwide monitoring program launched in 2005 to increase the use and capabilities of surveillance cameras. According to developers, Skynet works regardless of angle or lighting condition scanning your face and identifying an individual in just seconds via facial recognition algorithms, but they also said the accuracy is always perfect with a rate 99.8%.
The system is fast enough to scan China’s population in just one second, and it takes two seconds to scan the world’s population.

However, Skynet and Sharp Eyes aren’t the only two surveillance tools the Chinese government has impeded upon the Chinese people’s freedom, they also have the Golden Shield Project which is firewall that censors the use of their internet freedoms. Moreover they also use Safe Cities which is tool that focuses on disaster warnings, traffic management, and public security so they say and Smart Cities which from what I understand is structure based itself aiming to move all obsolete components used by localities to modernized surveilling entities.
With all these instruments in use, it’s believed that China’s mass surveillance states total number of cameras has crossed over 200 million cameras, public and private.
The Deep State is ‘Big Brother’
In this country the people who want to actually change it for the better will never get a shot at doing so because the deep state will see to their failures, leading to an even larger disadvantage for Americans that they don’t care about.
You should never give up your privacy for the sake of your safety, Ron Paul taught me that and it’s undoubtedly true. People give in because they’re lazy in reading the fine prints that change everyday merely because of convenience, but when they truly feel violated they want to bitch and moan bitch afterwards as if they had no clue.
Freedom is not defined by safety. Freedom is defined by the ability of citizens to live without government interference. Government cannot create a world without risks, nor would we really wish to live in such a fictional place. Only a totalitarian society would even claim absolute safety as a worthy ideal, because it would require total state control over its citizens’ lives. Liberty has meaning only if we still believe in it when terrible things happen and a false government security blanket beckons.
Ron Paul
The government is systematically placing these devices in our lives to monitor us on every level, google and amazon both have contracts with CIA that have no jurisdiction to monitor it’s own citizens. But because their creations like google home and amazon alexa are just the tips of the iceberg.
We can’t forget when Julian Assange exposed the NSA when they got caught spying on Americans and foreign oligarchs for no apparent reason which Obama denied they did so, but was a lie, then James Clapper the former director of national intelligence blatantly lied and denied in front of Congress that they did so, when the evidence was already out there to see. The fix is in if we keep giving in, we can no longer now down to these people.
The United States will never become a socialist country, don’t believe me ask President Trump.
