Tom Steyer, the billionaire environmental activist who toyed with a 2020 run before deciding against it, has told people he plans to announce that he’s entering the race for the Democratic nomination on Tuesday. To be honest, I’ve never even heard of this guy, have you?

With Steyer entering the 2020 race this makes him candidate 759. As of July 8, 2019, there are 766 candidates who filed to run with 266 Democrats, 104 Republicans, 32 Libertarians, and 14 Green candidates.

Be thing is clear however in doing my research he’s not a man who can make up his mind, he’s not a man of his conviction. Steyer had been expected to announce a U.S. Senate run in 2016 and a gubernatorial run in 2018, both for California, he had even recorded a commercial for the latter run before pulling the plug.
Hell, even this year he proposed to announce a bid for the presidency in January but renigged on that decision as well just days before the Iowa announcement. However, as those things were set to happen he did not notify his staff to inform them of the decisions, they had to learn from outside sources and nit from the man himself.
Steyer has been the driving force to impeach the president even funding the largest organization Need to Impeach which has a whopping 8 million members, making the largest progressive left-leaning group in the United States.

He also believes he’s a better businessman than Trump and could show him what’s it like to see somebody do it from scratch.
