AOC is withholding $250,000 in “dues” from the Democratic party in protest in order to build her own grassroots fundraising for progressives instead. What’s stopping somebody else to do same thing in the next committee?

She’s the epitome of a progressive socialist in the sense that she uses the vehicle, the DNC, and then sabotages it.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announced in 2019 that it would blacklist vendors who had worked with primary challengers to incumbent Democrats, drawing criticism from some progressives like Ocasio-Cortez.

The primary reasons the members of Congress pay their dues and hit their “targets” is because it’s fixed to reward them with better committee assignments in the future, and more favorable treatment of legislation they author, than members who give the finger to the dues. It sounds like complete corruption to me.

Congresswoman Cortez said in a tweet earlier, “I give quite a bit to fellow Dems – we’ve fundraised over $300,000 for others (more than my “dues”), w/ over 50% going to swing seats. DCCC made clear that they will blacklist any org that helps progressive candidates like me. I can choose not to fund that kind of exclusion.”

If that’s her argument this proves publically that she knows the democratic party is as corrupt as the republican neocons who do the same thing. Must we never forget what Debbie W-S and the DNC did to Bernie Sanders the last go-round? The six were in and they could be behind the man this time because they know he was the better candidate then, now I’m not so sure, but anything is better than Biden for them.

My question is how did Debbie W-S get elected?
