Iraq Prime Minister Abdul Mahdi says it is in the interests of both Iraq and the US to end foreign troop presence in the country, says recommends parliament takes urgent measures to end the presence of foreign troops.

There are currently around 5,200 U.S. troops in Iraq right now. They were around 180 legislators present in Parliament who voted in majority favor of the troop-removal resolution. It was backed by most Shiite members of parliament, who hold a majority of seats. Many Sunni and Kurdish legislators did not show up for the session, apparently because they oppose abolishing the deal.

The prime minister also said Baghdad has two options on the table. 1. To put an immediate end to presence of all foreign troops in Iraq. 2. Revisit draft resolution that ensures the presence of US troops specific for training Iraqi security forces and help in the fight against ISIL.

Just remember Iran has a big problem if the US leaves. They wouldn’t have an in-country boogeyman to blame anymore combined with a Sunni minority progressively feeling desperate as the Shia tighten the screws. The driving force and success of ISIS will have no counterpart to thrive off of a narrative they’ve created.

“I was supposed to meet Soleimani in the morning the day he was killed, he came to deliver me a message from Iran responding to the message we delivered from Saudi to Iran…But at the same time, American helicopters and drones were flying without the approval of Iraq, and we refused the request of bringing more soldiers to US embassy and bases” Iraqi PM said.

This is the same thing the united states or the war propaganda machine has thrived on for decades as well. Ron Paul said it best that these countries like Iran and North Korea are best kept unstable for the military-industrial complex because we have a constant enemy for war profiteering. I’m not saying Trump really practices this because despite this criticism he has been very open to talks on foreign policy where other presidents have failed.

A big concern will be for the Israeli people since it was disclosed by the Prime Minister the attacks against PMU headquarters in the recent months were conducted by Israel.

It’s been evident for years now that all foreign forces should pull out along with stopping all aid, and it’s clear that Iran has now got total control and it’s not in our interests to be involved and let them sort out their own problems.

There is another hidden factor that so many oil companies and lobbyists own many in the Republican and Democratic Party which have enabled administrations to maintain a presence in this region. If only the world and the US didn’t need the oil and people weren’t so greedy there would be a better solution instead of always beating around the bush to find alternatives.

Honestly wildlife matters but why can’t we find a way to drill for oil in Alaska? We could leave the region and stop wasting money and save lives all at the same time we are already the number one exporter of oil in the world what else do we need?
