Caviezel also buried Hollywood saying they refuse to make films about Jesus Christ but are willing to make marvel movies with fake superheroes instead of praising the ultimate superhero that Jesus Christ is.

Much of the film’s success is attributed to mankind’s natural suspicion of what’s next and “Hey, where are you going to go? What character are you playing in the Bible?” according to Caviezel. “The Passion of the Christ” success is also canted in another way being the most successful independent film ever, having a budget of $30 million but raking in $612 million worldwide.

In the documentary below Caviezel gives an amazing and heartwarming take on what his experiences playing the role of Jesus Christ was like in the film and details that so many strange things happened to him while filming including getting struck by lightning.
