Lori Loughlin and her husband will contest new charges brought today in regards to the college admissions scandal.
While they previously pleaded not guilty to fraud and money laundering, these other charges of bribery seem as if they forcing her to cave under pressure. I don’t agree that she paid $500,000 to get their two daughters into the University of Southern California as fake athletic recruits, but I do respect her fight.
Is her fight really benefiting her and her husband though?
Lawyers for Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli filed court documents Friday saying the couple plans to plead not guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit federal program bribery. The couple also waived their right to appear at a Nov. 20 arraignment.
